In 1984, NAV started as a single-user PC accounting software and was subsequently introduced to the global market in 1990. It was later acquired by Microsoft, who then enhanced and rebranded it as Dynamics 365 Business Central, further deepening its integration with its other product and service offerings.

Is Microsoft Still Supporting Dynamics NAV?
As of January 10, 2023, Microsoft officially ceased mainstream support for all versions of Dynamics NAV. While some versions like NAV 2018 still receive extended security support until January 2028, there will be no new updates or non-security patches released by Microsoft.
This means if your business is still running on NAV, this end-of-life status can invite serious risks.
