News Update : Upcoming License Price Changes
It’s the news no one really wants to hear, but is coming nonetheless – there will be price increases to On-Premises Navision and Business Central instances this year.
Starting October 3, 2024, the annual Enhancement Plan (EP formerly known as BREP) rates will increase by 1 percentage point. This means that the new rate for a 1-year EP will be 19% of the Protected List Price (PLP), up from the current 18%.
Customers who commit to a two- or three-year plan (paid annually or upfront) will lock in their original rate for the entire duration of the plan.
In addition to the above, On-Premise license costs will increase also:
- Purchase Licenses: An 11% price adjustment for Dynamics 365 Business Central On-Premises purchase licenses.
- Subscription Licenses (Rental): A 10% price adjustment for Dynamics 365 Business Central subscription licenses.
- Dynamics NAV Subscription Licenses (Rental): A 14% price adjustment for Dynamics NAV subscription licenses.
It’s important to note that these increases are separate from the previously mentioned Enhancement Plan rate changes.
Currently we are not seeing price increases to the SaaS Business Central licenses – which could be seen as an incentive to make the leap to a cloud-based solution.
